A save-the-date announces the wedding early enough for guests to plan. A bottle opener magnet adds a household use to that announcement, but the essential information still needs to be clear. Plan the wording and recipient list before choosing the presentation or postage.
Put the names and date where guests can find them
Guests should be able to identify the couple and wedding date at a glance. Keep a short message such as "Save the Date" secondary to that information. If the layout supports a location, use the city or region guests need for travel planning rather than a full schedule.
Detailed directions and changing arrangements can live on the invitation or wedding website. If you want extra wording or a URL beyond the selected layout, ask before ordering so you know whether it fits the available print area.
Check the date format for your guests. Writing the month as a word can remove uncertainty where numeric dates might be read in a different order. Confirm the date and location before printing anything that guests will use to make travel plans.
Choose a design you can carry into the wedding
Pick a visual detail that can appear again in the invitation or reception, such as a botanical motif, coastal color or simple type style. It is enough for the pieces to feel related; the magnet does not need to hold every element of the wedding stationery.
Compare the gallery and dimensions for the chosen product. A card or envelope that suits one shape may not suit another. Keep the size of the opener separate from the dimensions of the optional background card when planning packaging.
Count the mailing addresses
If you are sending one announcement per household, count addresses rather than individual guests. For example, 68 addresses plus seven keepsakes or spare copies means 75 magnets. Check that household groupings match the people you intend to invite, including guests who receive their own mail.

Enter the MG code and exact personalization
Find the numbered artwork in the product gallery and enter its MG code, such as MG #13, in the Choose your design field. Then enter the names or personalization text and the event date exactly as they should print. Choosing a product page does not remove the need to enter the design number.
Review spelling and capitalization, and check any requested URL character by character. Event orders do not include a digital proof. Magnetica contacts you if essential details are missing or unclear, so the information you submit should already be the final version.
Choose presentation and mailing packaging separately
A printed background card can support the visual presentation; a clear bag can keep the components together. Both are optional, separately priced add-ons. Their quantities must match the openers, so 75 openers with a card and bag requires 75 of each selected extra.
Neither add-on determines the correct postage. The outer envelope or mailer, the finished thickness and the way the contents are secured all matter. Assemble and weigh a complete sample package before buying postage for the full mailing.
For mail sent within the United States, USPS assigns processing categories from the finished mailpiece's dimensions and characteristics, and has packaging rules for odd-shaped contents. Check the USPS mailability and packaging standards or show the assembled package at a Post Office. Do not assume an opener magnet in a paper envelope qualifies for a standard letter stamp. Other destinations and carriers have their own requirements.
Work backward from the mailing date
Choose when guests need to receive the announcement, especially if they will travel or arrange time off. Work backward through your own mailing time, addressing and packing, the delivery from Magnetica and production.
Event production normally takes 3-5 business days after complete personalization details. Carrier transit is separate and depends on the destination and service available at checkout. Leave a buffer to check the order before sending it on to guests; the shop's delivery estimate does not include your later mailing to each household.
